Mitered Corners

Yesterday, I received a comment on the nicely mitered corners of the mug rug… I appreciated the compliment but was glad she was not able to examine the corners more closely.  Then, I thought… not only are mug rugs fun to make and put leftover bits of fabric to good use… I can practice mitered corners making them!

I practiced 8 mitered corners last night!   *grin*

I’m gonna get good at this some day!

  7. I love your sunflower mug rug. Very nice. I was thinking the same thing the other day--that mug rugs were good little practice items to make. And so much fun to make, give or use.
