Okay, so I was tired last night and only got one block done.   I'm still on track for catching up by the time the next CW block is posted....

  1. Hi Freda. I'm enjoying your blocks. Very nice.
While on vacation last week, I was able to view you Stash Manicure guest post using my Blackberry phone. However, I was unable to post a comment. This is my second attempt to post this comment tonight. Please know that I thought it was a great tutorial and that I was happy to see you post on Stash Manicure. Good job! Sheila

  2. Oh, The Little Blue Engine That Could picture takes me back a lo-o-ong way! You are inspiring me with your C.W. block catch-up. I don't think I will make them all, but I have saved many of them and will do at least a lap quilt to commemorate!

  3. You've got some terrific fabrics in your magic bag! I love the ones you've used in Union Square...it looks like a vintage block. This quilt will be very special when you have it assembled.

  6. You are doing a great job, that is a lot of blocks that you have completed in a short time. I think it would be a lot easier if the directions were better. Like your fabrics in this one, I worked on Union Square last night. One corner is a little wonky (technical term) and will have to fix it and took another one apart because I didn't like one fabric. Not getting ahead that way.

  7. You are doing an amazing job on these blocks. I am saving all the directions but I haven't started them yet. Not sure what I'm waiting for..... I guess I'm trying to avoid ANOTHER new project.

  9. I love Civil War quilts. You are doing a great job and I admire the fact that you are only using what is in your stash. I am going to do that sometime!
